So after playing with my new Silverback on the couch for 24 hours, here’s some initial observations….

Fit– TIGHT fit !!! Really tight… I now see why so many go back to DW with the slide seized up. I’ll be sure to run it soaking wet for several hundred rounds. They sent a little bottle of unknown oil in the case. I’ll use it till its gone which won’t take long running wet.

Sooooooooo, have an itch for a 10MM.

Going to be either a new model Delta in SS or a Dan Wesson Silverback.

Now, before you say, "a Silverback costs way more than a DE", I might be able to get hold of a used Silverback for not all that much more than a new DE.

So with that in mind, knowing that Dan Wesson fit and finish is by far better than a Colt, but both likely shoot very close to the same grouping, the question becomes.......Is the Delta Elite "mystique", the better game in town?

This is just going to be a new toy and will likely never be used as an EDC. Then when the itch has been scratched long enough, the gun will be flipped back into a new owners hands.
